Despite their bitter break up, Sam Milby and Anne Curtis managed to keep a civil and professional relationship. The ex-lovers are finishing the next Star Cinema big screen offering Babe, I Love You, their first movie project after doing three teleseryes together. During the pictorial for the film, Sam revealed that on the set he and Anne would still have some misunderstandings. “Okay naman kami. But hindi naman maiiwasan na may mga days na we’re like cat and dog. Ang maganda na lang is ‘yung mga days na nag-aaway kami, timing na ang kukunan naming scene was magkaaway talaga kami. Kaya si Direk (Mae Cruz) sasabihin na lang, ‘Good take!’ Ha ha ha!”

Nevertheless, Sam and Anne would sort things out for the sake of being professional. Whenever they are in good terms they are able to do the ‘sweet scenes’ almost perfectly. “The good thing na magka-work kami ni Anne ngayon is kapag may mga kilig scenes okay kami. I mean we had a past as you know it. Kapag okay kami na, hindi kami nag-aaway.”

Sam said he is happy that amidst the occasional ‘silent war’ with his former love, there would still be the nice moments to cherish. Does this mean that there’s a big possibility of a renewed romance between them? The hunky heartthrob explained, “We’re two people who just enjoy what we have day by day. Getting back together is not something we talk about.

Sam still considers the Fil-Australian beauty a good friend, so for her birthday last February 17 he decided to give her a Kindle e-book reader.

However, because of unavoidable circumstances, Sam failed to give the gift to Anne on time. “Ayokong nagbibigay ng gift nang late. I was supposed to give her the gift on her birthday pero nasa hospital si Ate Kris. Tapos after that nag-Japan naman ako so hindi ko naibigay.”

But when he finally gave the Kindle to Anne, he found out that she already got one courtesy of her fans.

Catch Sam and Anne in the movie Babe, I Love You coming this April 3, 2010.
