Mariel Rodriguez, the lead star in Cinco's “Mukha” episode proved that she can portray a role very far from her bubbly hosting personality. Since this is technically her first intense acting role, a lot of people commented that she can become a dramatic actress someday. "Wow…sana… sana talaga… Thank you. I am so fabulous, I am so happy, super. I am very grateful kay Direk Nick Olanka, he was so patient to me. I super appreciate him," referring to her episode’s director who gave her a lot of motivation on the set.

It was the elevator scene at the end of the episod where Mariel earned a lot of positive reviews. She told ABS-CBN.com that she prepared well for the scene. "Thank you talaga… Yung scene na yun bagong gising ako nun. Actually, it was not the original ending. I don't know if I am allowed to say it. They changed it. And I think it worked." There was also a scene where she fell on her knees hard from running fast and when asked if it hurt, Mariel exclaimed, "Totoong dapa yun. That was our second or third take. Okay lang yun (kahit masakit). It does not matter, it's all worth it!" Mariel said that she is willing to do those kinds of scenes if the script calls for it.

Mariel was also overwhelmed that her Wowowee co-hosts Carmen Soo, RR Enriquez, Kelly Misa, Isabel Abierra and Valerie Concepcion graced the event to show their support for her and Pokwang (who also starred in the movie in a separate episode). "Gusto ko talaga pasalamatan yung Wowowee family ko dahil all-out support silang lahat grabe, nakakataba ng puso."
